Are coil mattresses shipped compressed?

Yes, all ZINUS mattresses are delivered compressed.

What makes the thermoregulatory foam different?

This temperature-regulating foam aims to give you the same refreshing cool feeling you get right after lying down in bed, even on hot nights. The gel-infused foam moderately regulates your body temperature, reducing heat buildup inside the mattress and keeping you comfortable.

Can the topper be stored folded or rolled up?

Yes. Topper thicknesses up to 10cm can be folded or rolled for storage. However, depending on how you fold it, the internal foam and cover may become wrinkled. We recommend storing it rolled up.

My mattress has not fully recovered. Is it defective?

It usually takes about 72 hours for your mattress to recover, but depending on temperature and humidity it may take up to 7-10 days.

Is there a guide to choosing a mattress size?

We recommend the following sizes for each:
Men: semi-double or double bed Women: single or semi-double bed *The required width varies depending on the body size of men and women.

Is the mattress cover removable?

Cannot be removed.

ZINUS mattresses are manufactured with covers that cannot be removed to prevent contamination.
Please note that once removed, it will be difficult to reattach. For best hygiene, please use with a sheet.
*The zipper does not have a handle. This is by design and is not a defect.

Is it okay to use an electric blanket on top of a mattress?

Yes. When using a heating device, please keep the temperature below 40°C.
Although it may discolor due to heat, it does not affect the quality and can be used safely.
You can also prevent discoloration by placing a blanket or other material between the electric blanket and the mattress.

What are the dimensions of the mattress?

The external dimensions are as follows:

Can the mattress be stored in its packaging?

No. Please unpack your mattress within 72 hours (3 days) of delivery.

Can the mattress be recompressed?

No. The mattress is compressed using a special machine and cannot be re-compressed.

Is the mattress double-sided?

No. All of our current products are single-sided. Please use them with the front side facing up, as the feel will change depending on whether you use them front or back.

The memory foam inside turned yellow during use.

Memory foam naturally discolors due to exposure to ultraviolet rays, temperature, humidity, air, etc. Please rest assured that this discoloration does not result in the release of harmful substances.

This is my first time using a memory foam mattress and I'm a bit nervous.

When using a memory foam mattress for the first time, it takes about 2-3 weeks for your body to get used to it. Because it is a different sleeping environment from what you are used to, you may feel a bit uncomfortable for the first week or so, but as you get used to it, you will begin to enjoy the unique comfort of a memory foam mattress.

When will the smell go away?

Are ZINUS mattresses safe? Are they CERTIPUR-US® certified?

All Zinus mattresses are tested and meet the requirements of the U.S. "Flammability Standard for Mattresses and Mattress Pads" (16 CFR Part 1632) and the "Federal Flammability Specification" (16 CFR Part 1632).
Zinus is also CertiPUR-US® certified. Most of us spend a lot of time in bed, so we believe you should sleep on the healthiest form possible.

A certified form has the following characteristics:

  • No ozone-depleting substances are used.
  • It does not use polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs), tris(1,3-dichloro-2-propyl) phosphate (TDCPP), or tris(2-chloroethyl) phosphate (TCEP) as flame retardants.
  • Contains no mercury, lead or heavy metals.
  • Contains no formaldehyde.
  • This product does not contain phthalates, which are subject to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission Act's regulations regarding VOC (volatile organic compounds) emissions in indoor air quality (less than 0.5 ppm).

Do ZINUS mattresses contain flame retardants?

No. Flame retardants contain many chemicals. At ZINUS, all mattresses are fire-resistant and chemical-free, so you can rest easy knowing you're not at risk of fire or chemicals.

I would like to purchase just the bed frame slats.

Unfortunately, we do not sell parts separately.

What type of mattress can be placed on the bed frame?

To extend the life of your bed frame, use a mattress that is at least 15cm thick.
However, please be aware that when using a bed frame and futon mattress together, body pressure will be applied directly to the floorboards, which may result in damage to the floorboards.
Also, please refrain from jumping or other actions that concentrate the load on one point, as this may cause damage.

What tools do I need to assemble a bed frame?

The ZINUS bed frame comes with all the tools you need to assemble it, so you can assemble it quickly without having to prepare any tools in advance.

How long does it take to assemble?

What are the ZINUS warranty conditions? (All categories)

This warranty applies to products purchased new from ZINUS official websites or authorized retailers. This warranty is void if the product has been modified or improperly used.

ZINUS warrants against manufacturing defects, but does not cover damage caused by misuse. Manufacturing defects include product breakage under normal use and failure to provide proper support for the mattress. Proper support is defined as a smooth, firm, and even surface.

Additionally, the warranty only applies if the product is used properly. Proper use means using the product on a level surface where the load is evenly distributed. Do not place the product on casters or risers. Proper use also includes not exceeding the weight capacity and avoiding misuse of the product in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.
Any structural modifications to the product or removal of any part of the product as delivered will void the warranty.

This warranty is valid only to the original purchaser of the product identified on the sales receipt or invoice who purchased the product as new from an authorized retailer. Please retain your original sales receipt or invoice as it will be required for warranty purposes.

What type of mattress can be placed on the bed frame?

To extend the life of your bed frame, use a mattress that is at least 15cm thick.
However, please be aware that when using a bed frame and futon mattress together, body pressure will be applied directly to the floorboards, which may result in damage to the floorboards.
Also, please refrain from jumping or other actions that concentrate the load on one point, as this may cause damage.

What tools do I need to assemble a bed frame?

The ZINUS bed frame comes with all the tools you need to assemble it, so you can assemble it quickly without having to prepare any tools in advance.

What are the ZINUS warranty conditions? (All categories)

The warranty applies to products purchased new from an authorized ZINUS retailer.
Proof of purchase is required. You can register your purchase here.
This warranty is void if the product has been modified or improperly used.
Your new ZINUS product is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship. Please retain your receipt or proof of purchase of your ZINUS product. Except as limited by this section, if your product is defective due to a manufacturing or construction defect, you may have the product replaced or receive a reasonable refund, at your option. Please read this limited warranty carefully. You must comply with its terms and conditions to maintain your warranty.

ZINUS warrants against manufacturing defects, but does not cover damage caused by misuse. A manufacturing defect would be if the product breaks under normal use or does not provide proper support for the mattress. Proper support is a smooth, firm, and even surface. If you discover a manufacturing defect, immediately discontinue use of the product and call customer service. The manufacturer's warranty and financial liability apply only to the product you purchase and do not include any items used with the product.

This warranty is valid only to the original purchaser of the product identified on the sales receipt or invoice who purchased the product as new from an authorized retailer. Please retain your original invoice as it is essential to the warranty and is the only acceptable proof of purchase.

The warranty applies only if the product is properly used by the original purchaser. Proper use means using the foundation on a level surface where the load is evenly distributed. Do not place the foundation on casters or risers. Proper use also includes avoiding misuse of the product in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications, such as not exceeding the weight capacity. Any structural modifications to the foundation or removal of any part of the foundation as delivered will void the warranty. This warranty gives you certain legal rights; you may also have other rights which vary by state.

How do I make a warranty claim?
